I Heart Faces: Family Fun

I was wondering which picture to use for this then this one came to mind…..

The Schnells’ loving the hula hoops:)

Go check out the others!!

the Carter Family

No, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth! I’ve been enjoying Christmas and my new little baby Oliver…. but enough of that… here’s a shoot that has taken WAY to long to make it up here.

The lovely Carter  family met up with me and it was SO windy! Seems as though that’s how it is lately around here in Southern Alberta.

The Wilde family

Well this was a crazy Southern Alberta day where the wind was SO BAD! But it was a great family that was happy and willing. And no super small kids which made it easier in the  wind!

These kids all get along so good. I didn’t tell them to do the little doggy pile thing they are doing… I just told them to back up and they fell into this.:)

Now this young man was not smiling in any pictures, no matter how much I pestered him. And his parents told me to not take it personally, he does that in all pictures. But thanks to his sisters help, we did get a few pictures of him smiling:)

Thank you Wilde’s!!! IT WAS GREAT

the Roberts family

I really am on a little break since I’ve had baby Oliver. But I needed to take pictures of this great family. Greg attended Medical School with Regan in Calgary. And we got to know them up there. Such a nice couple. And since then we also got to know Greg’s parents through our ward at church. And we also knew Greg’s brother when we lived out in Halifax. All such great people. Recently Greg has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. They have been on my mind and in my thoughts a lot. They have a hard road ahead with surgery and battling this thing. In Erinn’s own words… “Thank you everyone for the well wishes, prayers, and phone calls. Greg and I are feeling very optimistic after meeting with literally the two best transnasal neuro surgeons in the world. Keeping our spirits up and our faith strong. Love to all of you and please keep Greg in your thoughts. My hubby is in for a fight but I feel like he can do this. THANK YOU! ♥”  I think he can do it too. I was so happy to see them on their short trip home (they live out in Ontario for his residency) to see family and so happy I could do this for them. Love to you guys. And our prayers are with you!

the Woolf Family

It was lovely to meet up with this family in Waterton and enjoy the beautifulness that Waterton is! Amy and Curtis got engaged in Waterton so it holds special meaning for them.
