I am grateful.

Chloé is one of the nicest people I know. She is kind and sweet. It was a great pleasure to take pictures to celebrate her and her mother and their relationship. She is an only kid so you know they are close. And I think the pictures speak of that too.

I am taking an online photography class right now. And for this week, my last week, I needed to do a photo shoot that was based on something non photography. I had some grand ideas involving costumes and fairy tales, but I couldn’t find every thing I needed in time. So I went a different route. I went with a concept. Dating. And this lovely couple helped me out with it. I appreciated their willingness to do whatever strange thing I told them too, their ability to ask strangers to help out (Joelle) and there patience of my usage of the word totally.
Without further ado, here it is.

I was honored when I was asked to shoot images for an upcoming concert for the violinist David Herrington. These are the images we created together.

The upcoming concert is in partnership with the Canadian Diabetes Association. Dave’s daughter has diabetes. She is the same age as Alden. So young. That’s a lot of insulin needles she’s going to have to have over the course of her life. Isn’t she a doll!
