Kathleen and Bernie got married

Kathleen and Bernie were married out in their backyard, north of Stafford Lake, along the top of the river valley.  It was a simple wedding in a beautiful rural environment.  It was wonderful to capture the beauty of the location and the special moments of the day.  For both Bernie and Kathleen it was a 2nd wedding, but it was a significant occasion and it drew together family from far and near that they had not seen for years. It was a lovely, wonderful ceremony filled with friends and family. And oh how the sunset was beautiful!

Olivia and Shawn got married

What a lovely young couple this was!!! So in love and such a beautiful bride!!! (The groom cleaned up not so bad either!):)

Lindsay and Mike got married

It was very nice to be asked to shoot an intimate wedding such as Lindsay and Mike’s. There were seven of us there, including me. It was a nice sweet short ceremony and then we were off to take pictures. Enjoying in the beautiful farm country since Lindsay is a farm girl. Huge congrats you two, I wish you all the best!!

10 Years of Abby and Shaun

Well these are two good friends of ours that we just love love love! And we were talking a while ago about how much she wanted better wedding pictures. And this lovely shoot came about. In celebration of their 10 year wedding anniversary,  Abby (talented in all areas!) sewed the dress and even scouted out locations for pictures. It was so much fun to hang out and do this. And Regan even came with me and provided the entertainment (and some times distraction) for Abby and Shaun.:)And after it all we went out on a double date. It was a great night. I couldn’t help myself, but share a whole pile of pictures. Lots of ones I loved!

Mandy and Ben got married

These two  were just so fun! After spending the day with them, I quickly realized that Mandy is all smiles. And her and Ben just go together so perfectly. Such a perfect match to each other!! They were married at the Sierra West Ranch, which holds great meaning to them both and all of Mandy’s family. It was the perfect spot to start their life together. Get prepared for LOTS of photos!:)

They started off with a first look and then right then we did family pictures and then the bridal party. It was so nice for the rest of the day that it was all taken care of!

Isn’t Mandy a stunning bride!!!

One of the best parts was all the personal touches. One of my favorites was her bouquet that she made. SO cool!

Nothing to get the couple laughing during the ceremony like a cow walking by:)You know you are in Alberta when….

So many great country touches: grandma made cookies in large jars, saddles, wild flowers, candles in jars, a fun photo booth,  a homemade banner and tissue puff balls.

It was a great day and it was tons of fun! HUGE congrats to you Ben and Mandy.
