Linked 52: Party

Yep totally missed last week! Because I was busy with this. The party. We planned a 40th Wedding Anniversary Party for my inlaws. We invited their friends and all of the kids and grandkids were here too. It was a weekend of family and fun.  I had asked my grandma to make a cake. And when she found out my inlaws had never really had their own wedding cake (it was a borrow Styrofoam one ) she made them a REAL wedding cake they never had. It was huge and totally over the top and EVERY one loved it!

Sure am lucky to have these two in our lives! they are wonderful!

the cake reminds me of the cakes my mom used to make. she is quite a baker. how sweet that your grandma did this for them. they look so happy!
