Welcome baby Elise

This is my friend Julie. And she just had her fourth. And her and her hubby have the cutest kids.

Beautiful family eh?!:)

15 on the 15th

My friend Tracy is going to start joining me on this project now.:)Go check out her day here.

10 on Tuesday

1. I am back to my pre Norah pregnancy weight. Which is a little exciting….. But I’m NOT at my pre Oliver weight. Which is less exciting.

2. Alden was in the Grade 4 play.  I couldn’t tell if he was nervous or just  didn’t want to be there. He seemed…. aloof. But the next day he asked if he could try out for the town play they are doing??? So I guess he had fun?!

3.  Regan is working a lot in the next month. And I’m already planning on being nutty. (I’m mostly there already anyway)

4. My grandma celebrated her 90th birthday and we had a little party for her. I’ll show a whole bunch of shots from it on Thursday.

5. Oliver is sick AGAIN. Seriously. This is the second time for him and Eli since Norah has been born. It’s kind of getting ridiculous!

6. I really haven’t ventured out of the house with all my kids alone yet. And that makes me feel a tad bit trapped. I am not normally stuck in my house so much. Between sick kids and having to have Oliver AND Norah and Eli with me… I am nervous about it!

7. I love that Regan takes pictures with his iphone. Like all these gems.

8. Can it be spring yet?

9. The kids have this week off school. I should have thought ahead of time and gotten Reg to get some time off…. but that didn’t work out.

10. How many of you are still reading this thing? Give me a hello.

Seven People Twelve Times in 2013

My friend Heather has done a project I am going to do this year. Every month I’m going to take a picture of our whole family. Hopefully some of them will be doing things that our family will do together. Not all of us just lined up on the couch. But this month, since Norah is new and small, lined up on the couch was just right. (And MAN my kids were being stinkers….. well Lucy was a stinker and Eli was mostly sleeping!!) I am going to try and post them on the last day of the month. Or at least close too the last day.

Highlights from January:

  • Norah’s birth:)
  • Dad taking a week off to be at home after Norah’s birth
  • getting the bedrooms all ready for Norah’s arrival
  • Visiting with family and friends
  • Celebrating Ukrainian Christmas at Brad and Whitney’s
  • Hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Davis’
  • Having Grandma Davis come and sleep over at our house
  • Surviving the flu (went through almost the entire family)
  • Sledding with Steed cousins
  • Alden reading the book and then getting to watch Harry Potter 2
  • Eli and Lucy having a sleep over in HillSpring
  • Celebrating Grandpa Steed’s birthday
  • Visiting Grandma Steed at the hospital
  • Lots of playing outside in all the snow
  • Nichole coming over and taking some pictures of us all
  • The kids seeing Norah for the first time

15 on the 15th

Well a few weeks ago it was the 15th. And like last year, I am doing my 15th on the 15th again. I loved the outcome last year. And so I’ve committed myself again. I am going to do a few photography goals this year for myself and my family. And it will all be centered around documenting us and our life. That is what I want the most with my camera. It’s what will matter the most in the years to come. Not that it isn’t fun to take pretty pictures of other people (cause that is fun) but my own family life is what I will be wanting to look back on in the future. Anywho, explanation over pictures up next.

Two things different from last year: 1. I’m not adding the time. (I’ve saving myself the time of adding the time:)) 2. I’m not doing all black and white this year.
