Linked 52: Red, White & Blue

Well I changed this a bit to be red and white. Since that is Canada colors. The Saturday closest to July 1st always includes a run in Raymond. And every year Regan and most of the Steeds run it. Well this year Me and the kids all did the 2 km and Regan did the 10 km. (He always does the 10km). Right before the start of the race they did a huge balloon launch with all the runners. The kids thought it was cool!! And it looked cool too. So here is to Canada and Red and white.

Linked 52: Party

Yep totally missed last week! Because I was busy with this. The party. We planned a 40th Wedding Anniversary Party for my inlaws. We invited their friends and all of the kids and grandkids were here too. It was a weekend of family and fun. I had asked my grandma to make a cake. And when she found out my inlaws had never really had their own wedding cake (it was a borrow Styrofoam one ) she made them a REAL wedding cake they never had. It was huge and totally over the top and EVERY one loved it!

Sure am lucky to have these two in our lives! they are wonderful!
