The Tree Hunt 2015

I have been wanting to cut down a tree for a few years and this year it worked out thanks to some friends. Dad read us Christmas Carol (one of our yearly traditions.)

The kids did some sledding down the road too.

WE may have not been able to make it up this hill…. man we need winter tires 🙂

In the end we found a great tree.

And we love that it’s not perfect, but it’s lovely!

mabyn - We always cut one down from a local tree farm. It smells so awesome that I don’t think it would feel like Christmas if we had an artificial. The kids enjoy it and it has become a tradition for us. We also have a kid tree set up in the play room and it’s a small one and artificial but they can decorate it however they like. This year me and my daughter started finger knitting and we knit our garlands for our trees 🙂
