I’m still plugging along on this week long project called “Week in the life” spearheaded by the amazing Ali Edwards. This week I’m capturing and recording about our lives. This was Friday.
6:17am: Apparently the theme this week is early rising. Which isn’t really that cool. But we keep doing it. One day I like to tell myself I’ll sleep. I’ll keep hoping.
8:00am: Eli helped Norah get dressed today. Norah said this was just perfect since “it all has flowers.” And yes I let her wear it all day. Why not?! Your only 3 once!
8:44am: I love it when dad makes me Breakfast. Egg bagels are one of his specialties.
9:41am: We were trying to hurry out to grandma’s house for the day. Alden was gone to scout camp and I was waiting in the van and here came Eli. He had heard there was some snow last night in Hill Spring so he was going prepared. 😉
10:18am: Lucy loves to color. Just like I did when I was her age.
10:46am: Right when we got to Hill Spring my cousin Amy’s daughter asked to paint Norah’s fingernails and toenails. It’s washable polish (I don’t know who invented that but brilliant!!) They were both a little shy but they warmed up to each other. So cute!
11:20am: Usual event at grandma’s house is painting. She’s always got supplies and my kids love it.
11:25am: G was really into her art. Isn’t she a DOLL?!
12:02pm: Working on their masterpieces.
12:47pm: Norah and Ollie wanted in too!
1:52pm: Great Grandma needed to lay down. And so we spent a little time in her room talking to her. I love that my kids have her in their lives!
2:12pm: We had to leave back to Raymond. Always hugs first.
2:13pm: Her finished piece.
2:15pm: They had just warmed up to each other all the way by the time it was to go. As per usual. 😉
6:20pm: They were planning a giant neighborhood picnic. Totally get that from their momma.
8:45pm: We put all the kids to bed (except Alden who went to a birthday paintball party after his BB game) and Lucy babysat so we could first go do my engagement session (Regan read in the car) and then we went out to dinner for a date.
That was Friday.
