One of the best things my parents did for me was develop in me the wonder of creativity. I strongly believe creativity is in every single person. It is a God given thing we already have.

People say they aren’t creative. I’ve heard that more times than I can count. But the truth is, creativity is found in all areas of life—painting, photography, music, baking, organizing… even arguing can be creative! Creativity is easier to spot when it’s physical, but it’s certainly not limited to that.

As we grow up we either stop listening to our creative ideas or we don’t feed that skill. It’s a muscle you have to flex to keep healthy. And the more you help it, the more you help it to build. I hope I can inspire you to be creative!

I share a lot about food. I love baking and yes, I bake every day. I also talk about Jesus. He’s a big part of my life. Everything comes back to Jesus.

I love sharing fun ideas to connect with your kids and others. Games, random fun ideas, how to help you gather your loved ones closer to you. I adore meeting people. In real life especially.

I am so grateful for photography in my life. I have been lucky enough to capture so many wonderful people: their births and marriages, funerals and the few precious last days on earth, watching families grow and all kinds of days in between. And I love that. (You can find my photography page here if that’s your jam) Even though I am beyond honoured to have captured a those people, photographing my family, moments, and special places have meant the most to me.

Man, what it ALL really comes down to at the end of the day… is gathering. And I’m so glad you’ve arrived.

I’m a wife, mom, baker, photographer, collector of recipes, chocolate lover, and small town girl… and I love gatherings.
