Double Chocolate Sourdough Whole Grain banana bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
- 4 eggs
- 6-7 bananas
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 1/2 cup whole grain flour
- 1 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325ºF convention or 350F for regular. Line three bread pans with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, sugar and starter until smooth. Add eggs in one at a time and cream in. Add in bananas and use the mixer just until they are broken up.
- Add in dry ingredients and fold together. Fold in chocolate. Divide batter among the three prepared pans. Bake for 25-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Yes, it’s whole grains and still tastes good. 👊🏻
