One of the things I committed to myself at the beginning of the year was that I was going to say yes more. I think often my first response is no. Sometimes without even a reason besides whatever they are asking is more work for me. But Im trying to choose adventure more and yes more. It was a nice evening on Friday night and someone suggested a Wiener Roast so I said yes. We had nothing to cook but I said lets do this. And when they asked for friends to come too I said sure.

The kids ended up eating and then running around the neighborhood. It was summerish. But our neighbor boy stayed just to play with Norah. And she was LOVING it. So that is what I ended up capturing. The kindness of K and how he was totally hamming it up just for her. And she was eating it up.

Then that night these two REALLY wanted to sleep outside. And I REALLY didnt want to let them. It’s March after all and it’s winter! But their ever adventurous dad set up the tent and got them all ready and checked on them multiple times.

Just in case you are wondering how the sleeping out side ended up…. Lucy slept there all night. She came in once to pee. Eli came in once to pee and then ended up peeing in the sleeping bag around 2 am and came in and woke up Oliver and that turned into a middle of the night¬†adventure. ūüėČ
