This month I was in charge of an Evan’s family reunion. Evan’s is my grandma’s maiden name. So it’s a big generational party. Well when my dad and mom and I were talking about plans my dad suggested that we ask a local farmer for a candy drop. And I was all over it! Every year on July first down in Spring Glen park they do it. The plane flies over top all the kids gathered in the ball diamonds and drops candy out the window and it rains candy. Fun right?! So this is from that. With just a couple other captures at the end. I didn’t take a lot of pictures the rest of the time! Just with the giant bubbles and the candy drop. So here is true child excitement as we gather them in the field and then explain what is going to happen, and then the plane flies over once to see where to drop it, and then back over twice with candy.
For the dinner on Saturday night we did a Hawaiian Luau and even cooked a whole pig in a pit my dad built. (Cause he’ll go along with my outlandish ideas ;))
Now… go on to see these other lovely ladies that I am doing this monthly habit with: Andrea, Erin, Naomi, Kinsey & Brooke
