A couple of my fellow 2015 Project Life Creative Team members are doing a little summer project called My Little Summer Joy. It’s all about documenting the simple joys in summer and I’ve decided to play along. I am keeping it super simple. Using a cute little mini sized Midori Journal. It is small and easy to pack around and finish pages in. I had it and used it. Didn’t plan out much and that’s why I’m loving the project. Using what I have and keeping it simple. I’m about 11 pages in. And here they are.
The cover is a stamp from Studio Calico and then colored in with pencil crayons plus a little of my handwriting.

Third of July has a chipboard circle & Letter stickers from Ali Edwards, Washi Tape from Willow Washi , and drip stamps from Studio Calico kit. 
Fourth of July has a label from Ali Edwards, JUL stamp from Kelli Stamps, Washi Tape from Willow Washi , Gold arrow chipboard from Heidi Swapp Project Life kit & HS patterned paper, and diamond sticker from Studio Calico kit.
Fourth of July #2 has some letter stickers from Basic Grey, JUL stamp from Kelli Stamps, Coloring Spray & a stamp from Heidi Swapp and Run Wild from Studio Calico kit.
Fifth of July has some old random patterned paper, JUL stamp from Kelli Stamps, 5 washi tape from Studio Calico kit and mini gold paper clip from Stampin Up’s newest Project Life kit called Moments like these.
Seventh of July has some old random patterned paper, JUL stamp from Kelli Stamps, and a card and sticker from Stampin Up’s newest Project Life kit called Moments like these. I sewed the bits on the book like a quilt with my sewing machine.
Eighth of July has a JUL stamp from Kelli Stamps, and a card and sticker from Stampin Up’s Let’s Get away Project Life kit.
Ninth of July has a JUL and a hello deliciousness stamp from Kelli Stamps and that’s it! (well plus some Tsukineko ink!)
Tenth of July has a JUL stamp from Kelli Stamps, and some random bits of patterned paper and some Coloring Spray from Heidi Swapp.
My Summer Manifesto page I used watercolors from the background. And then the stamps are old and from Fontwerks and I colored some of them in with pencil crayons. And added my writing on after.
That’s where I am. And it was super simple and lots of fun. I have just been playing in it and just enjoying the process. Which seems perfect for the whole idea of the little simple joys.
