When the pandemic started I was looking for simple family fun. And one of the ideas I came up with is taste testings. It can be super simple. Or I guess if you want to make it all fancy, fly right at it. 😉

One of the other things that has happened as we have done these taste tests our kids have expanded their tastes. They have tried new things and done it willingly. And they have laughed together. A lot.

Basically, start by collecting as much as you can of one thing to taste. Either you are tasting to figure out which you like best or figuring out if you can tell which flavour is which. Both are totally fun. It just depends on what you wanna do.

Divide what you are taste testing into cups or bowls so that it doesn’t give away the food. You can also use a blindfolds when you can tell from the look.

Some fun ideas that you can taste test:

  • Fast food burgers
  • Fast Food Fries
  • Ice Cream: Try one variety of the same kind ie different vanilla’s
  • Hot chocolates
